This book contains the text of Tesla's lecture to the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) in London, February 3, 1892, entitlteld, "Experiments with Alternate Currents of High Potential and High Frequency. The lecture was essentially a repeat of the one be had given to the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE), Columbia College, May 20, 1891.

In it Tesla reveals such gems as a "Single Wire or No-Wire Motor" which is illustrated in the sidebar. In addition to the lecture and its illustrations, there is an appendix by Tesla on "The Transmission of Electric Energy Without Wires" reviewing his work and illustrated with photography he hadn't released prior to the 1904 publication of this work.
